8 and 9 month offical pictures.........

Sorry it has taken oh so long to get these pictures on here. But here they finally are!!!!

8 months- defiently have the glow in this picture! On our way to a holiday/house warming party at our friends Muriel & Armond.

Note that I am wearing my wedding ring on my finger, not on a necklace. That night, I almost couldn't get it off......
The next night we went to my friend Paula's holiday party, and I loved my outfit and hair so I made Steve take more pictures (seriously, its a big deal when you're this pregnant and you actually feel attractive!). Notice that I am now wearing the fake Britney bling on my ring finger.....
and yes, those are my cute designer jeans. I'm tellin ya- worth the investment!!!!
Now lets fast forward a month. No longer up for doing my hair (I haven't worn it down since the holidays) or much makeup. And my cute clothes dont' really fit anymore. So here I am, not attempting to look cute or anything. And i'm HUGE, at 37 weeks pregnant....... (a week over 9 months, for those who don't want to do the math. And baby is officially full term at this point)
And its been almost two weeks since these pictures were taken- and I swear I'm bigger. Oy
So we're starting to get baby's room all set up. Here's the crib- with Ruffy Jr. and a cute pig pillow I got at my shower in it (dont' worry, they won't be in there when baby is!). Hanging over the side is my baby sling. And there is a picture of the Chargers football team. Steve is determined to make Baby a psycho sports fan like him......
The changing table is still covered with stuff. We're goign to move it under the window on the left. Then there is Baby's dresser drawers- already full of cute neutral onesies and shoes and toys. I realized though, Baby doesn't have any pants.......... Gonna have to do something about that. When Baby moves into this room, at about 3 months is what I'm thinking (but who knows!) we'll move the glider we bought at Toys R Us into the corner on the right. And the green looks much prettier irl, here it looks like pea green.

So those are my pictures. We'll see if I post, or even take any more pictures of my preggo self. I'll try to take a picture of myself on the way to the hospital, but thats it.

Anyways, I had my dr appointment on Wednesday night. Steve had a late night (career night at his school) so my mom went with me. My doctor kinda pissed me off, went on this little I don't even know what, about how woman need to get over wanting to have a natural birth. Making sure I knew how painful labor was going to be, how I didn't get pregnant to experience labor, etc etc. Um, ok dude- you have a penis. You have no idea what labor is like, what or why a woman would want to experience, and until you experience labor on your own, dont' tell me how its going to feel. If you're a woman and you've experienced labor, then you can tell me I'm crazy for wanting to do natural. Not helpful, but at least you have experience. Anyways, so that was annoying. Also, he doesn't do vaginal checks till I'm over due, so I have no idea if I'm dilated or effaced or any of that stuff. But he did feel Baby through my belly and "guess-timated" that Baby is about 7 to 7 1/2 pounds. I'd like to deliver Baby now, cause thats a good size. Baby is only going to get bigger.....

Went to accupunture on Monday night, and I am a HUGE believer now!!!! No, no contractions or anything, but holy cow did I sleep that night! This whole week actually, I've gotten some decent nights of sleep. Much much much appreciated. I'm going to go twice next week, hoping to get Baby moving! OH! But I do think I lost my mucus plug! How gross of a statement is that? I'm not 100% sure, this is my first go around, but maybe about 85% sure. So that means Baby should be on time. Keep you fingers crossed for me!!!!!

I'll keep you all updated, and hopefully I'll have time this weekend to teach Steve how to use Blogger for when Baby gets here. And another thing- I reccomend to all pregnant woman out there, if you can- take the last few weeks of your pregnancy off. Working at 38 weeks, almost 39......... yeah, wears you out. Ok- have a fabulous week!!!! Think good thoughts of Baby coming soon :)

Update

yep, thats all this is. Baby hasnt' arrived yet. But I am definely ready- have officially entered the uncomfortable stage. My lower reigon is just sore- apparently because its stretching out, etc. My hips are killing me, but the sore-ness threw me off. It feels like I went horse back riding for twelve hours strait or something. I wasn't expecting that. I thought you got sore AFTER the baby was born, but yeah, pregnancy is full of surprises.
Last week was also the work week from hell. I had wanted to be working less at this point, with two assistants to help out with the diaper changing and chasing after the kids. But um no, I'm still working 11 hour days. Not going to get into it here, but let me tell you- I was EXHAUSTED by the end of each day, and I am now loving my sexy belt. With out it, I think I would have snapped my back off (this Baby is making my belly extremely heavy). And now sleeping is starting to get uncomfortable. The only comfy spot is on Steve, which sucks for him- but I'm at the point now where I almost don't care ;) He's actually been really good about it, putting his arm out for me to come and lay with him. Getting out of bed is just a fiasco, too. And I know that I'm looking horrible, because this morning I put on my nice date night shirt and some jeans to go get coffee with a girlfriend- and everyone was letting me know how nice I looked. Amazing what a little mascara and cute clothes can do....... to bad I don't have the energy, or the supply! to do it every day.
I am hoping this week will be better. Tomorrow night I am going to get accupuncture, hopefully it'll encourage Baby to not make us wait too much longer. I'm still doing yoga, which I love. But its funny how many of the positions I used to love, I can no longer do. I made a comment about how one position wasn't comfortable, and my teacher said- "You're due in two weeks- nothing is comfortable." Thanks. But I keep doing it, hoping that keeping active will encourage Baby to come. My doctor appointment is on Wednesday, so I'm really hoping he'll tell me I'm like 5 centimeter dialated, 50% effaced and that Baby is almost here! But I'm sure he won't. *SIGH* Yep, its getting hard to wait. I don't think I've had any contractions or Braxton Hicks, but I have been having lower back crampy pains, so maybe??? I'll call the nurse and ask tomorrow. I used to read how people said they were so uncomfortable in the last trimester, and I didn't know waht they were talking about. Now I do. Its not the whole trimester, its just the last few weeks, but it FEELS like the whole trimester. I find myself thinking "Remember when I had all that energy in the second trimester?" Which is silly cause I never really had much energy.
Anyways, I also want to apoligize to anyone waiting for an email or phone call from me. I've pretty much fallen off the side of the earth in that aspect, I've been so bad at keeping in touch. Maybe if work wasn't so insane, I'd be better, but its been crazy, and then I'm pretty much done. So I apoligize for sucking at keeping in touch. Hopefully it'll get better when baby gets here..........
And now I'm done rambling. Here are some pictures from my baby shower that I think are silly. Never mind, maybe later- blogger is being stupid! But I'll TRY (keep work people) to put up a few pictures later this week. Til then, hope all is fabulous :) :)

Pictures are finally here!!

and just barely. my weekend wasn't exactly as relaxing as i would have liked. Life has been a bit insane, on top of being 9 months pregnant. So I dind't take my 9 month picutre, don't have my 8 month pictures either. So here are some random pictures that we've taken with my new fancy camera
First up- date night photo shoot. Gave my brother Greg the camera to take a picture of me and Steve on our date night- I had on a cute new shirt, and new makeup. Feeling pretty. Then Greg starting going Mr. Photog on us, and the end results are pretty silly.
Started out normal......

now he's jumping around somehow my brother Chris joined in (sorry, I don't know why this picture is sideways)
Now we're just getting silly- me sticking out my budda

pointing at my budda, not my boobas
this is my favorite one. Poor Baby, gonna have the biggest dorks ever as parents. At least we have fun doing it! :)
All my baby shower pictures were taken with other cameras, but here's one on mine of me and the two Grandma's to be. Karen in the blue, and my mom is the short one. How cute! :)
This is just a random silly one of me and my best friend Jessica, who was out visiting from New York and helping throw my baby shower. This was new years eve in our curlers. Sexy
Ok, so I've mentioned that I havent' been able to wear my wedding ring since pretty much exactly 8 months. So this is my fake Britney Bling that i wore when I was Britney Spears. And people actually think its real......
Keep in mind, Steve's a teacher and I'm a preschool teacher. Yeah, we really have the money to buy a ring like this! Oh, and I must mention- by the end of the night, this ring dind't fit any more either..
This last one isnt' of me, but its of my brother Greg and his girlfriend Anne. And Greg is smiling! Its amazing, and a cute picture, so I had to share....................

Anyways, thats all for now, and probalby till next weekend. Like I said, life has been a little insane. I'm defiently ready for Baby to come RIGHT NOW.

have a fabulous week y'all!!!

My toes look like sausages..............

I'm still here- baby hasn't yet arrived. So sorry for such a lag on the blog posts- the holidays were a complete whirlwind!!!! My first day of vacation (Friday, December 22) I got hit with something- soooooo sick! I just felt weak and achy and had chills and no appetite. I was sick for almost 48 hours. I still managed to go to the Nutcracker, but had to skip the yummy steak dinner :( So that was no fun, especially since I couldn't really take anything to help except for tylenol. And I dont' know about you guys, but tylenol NEVER helps me with anything. So then it was Christmas and go go go! My brothers came out on the 20th, my parents got here on the 17th (and thank goodness- I definetly needed my moms help that last week of work!). We had a pretty much packed schedule with both Steve's family and mine for the whole week I was closed. Then, the following weekend was my BABY SHOWER!!!!!!! So much fun, a bunch of my best friends flew in from out of town, and everyone brought their favorite childhood snack :) Lots of sweets! One friend brought chocolate chip cheese cake! Um, YUM! We played funny games and I got some awesome gifts for baby!
OH! and I almost forgot to mention- for christmas i got my
DREAM CAMERA!!!!!! So stoked. So i dont' have my offical 8 month pictures still, but I do have a lot of pictures to share!
Anyways, let me first tell you the changes that baby is making happen to my body.
First off- I'm a freakin pilsbury dough boy at night. My toes and feet literally look like sausages. I noticed it the week I had off, I wasn't keeping track of how much water I was drinking, so then I'd puff up. Not cute. I'm usually quite proud of my skinny ankles. Now they no longer exists. I can't even attempt to put on my wedding rings :( and my fake britney bling is starting to get tight as well. BUT I did only gain 1 pound at my Dr. appointment. Probably had a lot to do with the few days I was sick.
My belly is HUGE, and it has also dropped. Some parents noticed when they came back from the break. That means baby is headed down! :) A good thing.
Also means I have to pee more. And there will be times when I have to go SO bad, like not even sure I'll make it to the bathroom............ and I get there- and nothing comes out! SO annoying.
And I'm ridiculously tired. I'll sleep 10 hours and still need to take a nap. Its insane how tired making a baby makes you.
Baby is still bopping around, but I can tell Baby is getting a little squished. The movements aren't as big, I guess thats the only way to explain it. But I can see my belly moving, and its so funny. Now it will get lopsided, its pretty funny. And one night I felt Baby's little toes. Very cool.
Everyone is still guessing what sex Baby is. I just read an article where its only 20% of people dont' find out the sex of the baby. Everyone doens't know how we can wait, but its seriously not a huge deal for me. I love Baby no matter what :) And its fun that Baby has this little secret that no one else knows. But yeah, people guessing is pretty amusing. Steve's Grandma did the wedding ring over the belly trick (if the ring goes back and forth its a boy, if it goes in a circle its a girl). I think Grammy twirled the ring a bit to make it go in a circle, cause she's hoping for a girl! (She only has two grandsons) Don't tell her I think that though ;)
I'm still emotional. When I get super tired, I'll just start crying over anything. Luckily, since my mom is here to help with dinner and stuff I'm not feelign as overwhelmed and not freaking out as much.
We have been doing date night, and last night we did a double date night with a couple friends of ours. Won't be able to do those again for awhile! So we had to get a few more in :) Fun stuff
Today Steve and I are off to buy a few of the essentials that we still need to get. Like the baby car seat (um yeah, can't even leave the hospital with out it!)
So I will be better at updating now that life is back to normal, no more holidays! Can you believe that I am 9 months on Tuesday? And that its four weeks till Baby gets here? Actually, Baby could really come at any time..............
Now for the pictures:
(Oh, and I did have Steve take a Demi Moore on Vanity Fair style picture. I dont' look quite as fabulous as her- my arms have gained weight and her's are still all buff and skinny (and so is her face- why do I have to gain weight in my face????).......... but it is a cool picture I'm excited to have. Don't really feel comfortable posting it online, but if you REALLY want to see it- email me. And if you dont' have my email, that means I wouldn't have shown it to you anyways!)

ok, so i'm posting this with out pictures. its been two days since i wrote it, and i haven't had time to put the pictures on my computer. i have to get rid of a bunch to make room, and its a process that i'm not looking forward to. can someone tell me, when are you more tired- when yo'ure 9 months pregnant? or when you have a brand new baby????? anywyas, pictures will be up soon.................
